Surfing for autistic children: Billy Wilmot talks about the unique therapy

For children with autism, surfing appears to be just what the doctor ordered.

Jamaica Surfing Association, headed by Billy Wilmot, has for years been partnering with the Jamaica Autism Support Association to make this unique therapy available for children with the disorder.

Loop News, as part of its recognition of World Autism Awareness Month, caught up with Wilmot earlier last week to discuss ‘Surfing for Autism’ and get his insight on what makes the activity so special.
